In April 2017 youtube made a new rule, that you must have minimum 10.000 views in a case to make money.
But now things and rules on YouTube has changed dramatically.
Starting from 16 January 2018, YouTube has made 3 new rules if you want to make money on this platform. For small channels, this rules are really bad.
Rule number 1: You must have at least 10.000 views.
Rule number 2: You must have minimum 4.000 hours per year time watched on your channel.
Rule number 3: You must have minimum 1000 subscribers in the case to make money.
When you complete this rules you can start making money.
For channels that have more than 10.000 views but not 1000 subscribes then starting from 20 February 2018, they will no longer make money, until they reach 1000 subscribes.
