What is Optical fiber made of?
The optical fiber cable is made of drawing glass called -silica, and plastic to protect from outside.Main parts are shown on photo below.
What are the benefits of using optical fiber cable:
Optical Fiber transmits signal "light signal", this means that speed of the internet is super fast.
It doesn't make electric interference. Optical fiber cable does not interfere with electrical cables or radio waves (wifi etc).
Optical fiber must not leave in sunlight, cause signal is a light signal, and that makes signal poor.
